Tips For Synthetic Hair
Synthetic hair is low maintenance but there are things you can do to prolong the life and keep it looking sleek and smooth!

When you are sat in the car or against something always bring your hair to the front if it is long enough. Synthetic hair eventually gets something called friction frizz. This is where fabric rubs against the hair drawing out the moisture and resulting in frizz. It is unavoidable and will happen eventually but you can help slow down the process by taking care of your hair piece or wig.

Synthetic fibre spray! You can purchase this from places such as Amazon - it is a conditioning spray that will help to keep the hair moisturised, especially when it feels as though it is getting dry. The spray can be used daily in between washes.

Make sure to keep your synthetic hair tangle free by brushing regularly but gently. Always start at the ends and work your way up. Take a small brush or wide tooth comb out with you so you can keep on top of any tangles. We recommend using a soft bristle brush as these won’t snag like standard hair brushes.

Keep them in a box or somewhere they can lay flat to avoid tangling when not being worn. Never sleep in synthetic hair as this will cause irreversible matting.
Synthetic hair won’t last forever and friction frizz and dryness is inevitable. Even factors such as the weather can reduce the life span! However, the right aftercare can significantly increase the quality and keep them looking great for longer.
